Black and Latina women who experience childhood abuse are more susceptible to adverse health conditions which may include depression, anxiety disorders, and PTSD. They are also more: Vulnerable to risky behaviors such as drug and alcohol abuse and unsafe sex and Likely to experience interpersonal violence (IPV), which is the use of force or power to harm a person that may result in injury, psychological damage, or death
