On Wednesday, March 6, the School of Undergraduate Studies (UGS) held a banquet to celebrate students in the top 4% of their class. All 119 students on the UGS Dean’s List made a GPA of 4.0 during spring or fall 2018.

The Dean’s List banquet featured remarks from UGS Dean Brent Iverson, a keynote speech from Moody College of Communication professor Courtney Byrd, and a ceremony congratulating every Dean’s List recipient. Dr. Byrd, Dean Iverson, and Associate Dean Larry Abraham encouraged all Dean’s List recipients to keep striving for success and exploring opportunities at UT Austin.
