Our center serves students across campus who are exploring majors and careers, as well as undeclared students enrolled in the School of Undergraduate Studies. Meet outstanding UGS alumni.

We are located in JES A115 and are open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

Academic Advising

Make an academic advising appointment online, by calling 512-232-8400 or stopping by the office. Advisors work with students enrolled in the School of Undergraduate Studies and any student who is in transition between majors.

Have a quick question? The Vick Center holds drop-in advising hours M-F from 1-3 p.m. in JES A115.

Career Counseling

Schedule a career counseling appointment online, by calling 512-232-8400 or stopping by the office. A career counseling appointment can be up to 45 minutes and is available to all UT undergraduate and graduate students.

Have a quick career question? Want your resume or personal statement reviewed? No need for an appointment! Come to drop-in career counseling M-F 1-3 p.m. in JES A115 for a brief, 15-20 minute slot.
