The Transfer-Year Experience program connects transfer students to experienced mentors, creates transfer-specific academic spaces, and builds avenues for transfer students to establish peer networks.

University Health Services allows you to get a wide range of your healthcare needs taken care of right here on campus. Whether you need urgent care, a health exam to study aboard, or a flu shot, UHS can help. UHS also facilitates wellness initiatives, which help students making healthy choices on issues from nutrition to body image to responsible alcohol use.

UT’s Counseling and Mental Health Center can help you manage the many stresses that come with being a college student. They offer a variety of services including MindBody Labs, one-on-one and group counseling sessions, and healthy eating programs.

The Division of Campus and Community Engagement focuses on four core pillars: student success, campus engagement, community engagement, and advancing access and belonging.

Student Veteran Services helps students who are veterans utilize their education benefits, find a peer community on campus, connect with local employers, and address personal health and wellness.

Here at UT Austin, campus safety is a serious matter. You should never feel that you are alone. If you are studying late on campus and need someone to help you get home, you can reach out to SURE Walk. In case of an emergency, you can call the UT Police Department or push one of 174 emergency call boxes on campus and they will help as soon as possible.
