Finances

There are many resources on campus that can help students understand the financial commitment for earning a degree and how to fund that commitment.

Financial Commitment

To start, students can review the cost of attendance by semester for tuition and fees, housing, and other miscellaneous costs.

The Student Accounts Receivable page allows students to review and address all account activity they currently have with the university such as tuition bills, loans, and other expenses. For a listing of current payments due, visit the What I Owe page.

On a day to day basis, Bevo Bucks are a great resource for students on campus. Simply load Bevo Bucks onto your student ID online and use them at various vendors on and off campus. Looking to save money? Some vendors even offer a Bevo Bucks discount!

Funding

UT offers different types of financial aid to help students fund their education and expenses. To start the process, students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid.

Transfer students are eligible for a variety of scholarships. The Continuing & Transfer Students scholarship is available every year and is specific for new transfer students, students returning to UT Austin, and continuing students. Please note that the deadline for this scholarship is March 15.

UT Austin also offers a repository for on- and off-campus part-time employment for students who are looking to earn additional income while they are taking classes on campus.
