Kenya Rodriguez, a UT Government major, spent her summer working as a Government Affairs Intern for Hidalgo County Precinct Two through the Home to Texas program, conducting research on funding opportunities and assisting constituents in South Texas. Through her experience, she discovered a newfound appreciation for her hometown and established professional connections that will support her future goals in law and public service.
