Tylor Seaman

Tylor Bordelon Seaman is a senior associate in the Training & Education department at Dimensional Fund Advisors, a global asset management firm headquartered in Austin, Texas. In that role, he works with senior leadership to create and implement firm-wide education initiatives—ranging from investment knowledge to corporate culture preservation.

Tylor attended the University of Texas at Austin’s Plan II Honors Program, graduating magna cum laude in 2007. He went on to work for former University of Texas regent and Texas Business Hall of Fame inductee, Lowell Lebermann, serving as his executive aide before transitioning into a management role, training and overseeing incoming executive aides. Tylor also worked as a Legislative Analyst for Representative Garnet Coleman during the 81st Texas Legislative Session.

In 2011, Tylor graduated with an MBA from the University of Texas, focusing on CleanTech/Sustainability and Finance. During that time, Tylor interned for the Clean Technology department of the Austin Technology Incubator as a senior associate, selecting member start-up companies and advising them in all aspects of business development.

During his studies at UT, Tylor was admitted to two selective exchange programs in Spain: API’s Hispanic Studies Honors exchange program with the Universidad de Seville in 2004, and with ESADE in Barcelona in 2011. He has spent extensive time living and traveling in Spain and Italy, and speaks both Spanish and Italian. He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, as well as a published photographer, Texas BBQ connoisseur, and an avid fan of getting lost while traveling.
