Patrick Tobin is a partner in Jackson Walker L.L.P.‘s San Antonio office and is consistently recognized as a Best Lawyer in America, has been recognized as the Outstanding Lawyer in San Antonio and has received numerous other awards or accolades. Patrick successfully guides businesses and their owners in their domestic and international merger, acquisition and financing transactions, as well as in private investment and succession planning matters. The core of his client base includes large family owned businesses. He has experience in a variety of industries, including technology, construction, food and beverage, real estate, financial services, health care, and energy. He received his B.B.A. from The University of Texas at Austin and his J.D. from St. Mary’s University School of Law, where he was Articles Editor of the Law Journal. Following law school Patrick was selected to be a briefing attorney for the Supreme Court of Texas.
Patrick has held numerous leadership positions at Jackson Walker, including as a member of the firm’s Management Committee, Compensation Committee, Practice Group Leader and San Antonio Managing Partner.
Active in numerous charitable and civic organizations in San Antonio, Patrick has served as on the Board of Trustees and as a Chair of the World Affairs Council of San Antonio, President of the Rotary Club of San Antonio, Director and Membership Council Chairman of the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce, and Trustee and Secretary of the San Antonio Museum of Art. Patrick was also the Senior Warden and served on the Vestry of Christ Episcopal Church in San Antonio.
Patrick and his wife, Tricia, have three children all of whom are Longhorns!
