Laura Gilchrist is Vice President/General Counsel and Secretary of MD Anderson Services Corporation, a nonprofit supporting organization to The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Her practice focuses on healthcare transactions—including cancer network affiliations throughout the United States and international ventures in Spain and Turkey, as well as general corporate non-profit law.
Laura has recently served on Episcopal High School’s Board of Trustees as Secretary and currently serves on the Women’s Senior Leadership Network, the M.D. Anderson Node of the Chancellor’s Network for Women’s Leadership.
Laura graduated from The University of Texas at Austin School of Law with Honors, and obtained a B.A. in History from Duke University in North Carolina where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa.
Laura lives in Houston, Texas, with her husband Andy and their two daughters. She enjoys traveling, time with her family, and outdoor activities. She joined the School of Undergraduate Studies Advisory Council in the fall of 2017.
