Undergraduate Studies Celebrates Transfers and Graduates

The School of Undergraduate Studies (UGS) hosted a celebration for upcoming graduates and students who have transferred into a new college at UT. Over 100 students met at the Turtle Pond on Tuesday, April 4 to enjoy Amy’s Ice Cream, play lawn games, and visit with Vick Center academic advisors, UGS staff members, and Dean Brent Iverson.

UGS Ambassador Celia Gutentag said of the event, “It was great seeing my freshman year career counselor who helped me choose my current major and filling her in on what I will be doing after I graduate! The ice cream didn’t hurt either!”

Graduating students received a medal to wear at graduation, and recently transferred students received t-shirts declaring: I came, I saw, I transferred.
