Harrison Brown will be missed. He was much loved by his UGS family, his Discovery Scholars family and his Longhorn family. All of these families are heartbroken, as am I. There are no satisfying answers for why he was taken from us, only painful questions. Harrison embodied the very best of what UGS and the Discovery Scholars represent. He was exploring his academic options with fearless enthusiasm and an infectious positive attitude. He was devoted to his family in Graham, his church, his university and his community. We should all strive to be like Harrison Brown. That would make the world a much, much better place. Rest in peace, Harrison.
