Bridging Disciplines Poster Session Moves Online During Pandemic

Every year, the Bridging Disciplines Programs (BDPs) host an in-person poster session that allows students to share their research, internship, and creative project experiences and get feedback from faculty, staff, and other students. This year, once it was clear that an in-person poster session would not be possible, the program began looking into ways of giving students an opportunity to share their impressive research and internship experiences virtually. On April 27 and 28, the BDPs hosted their first online poster session with 43 students presenting their posters or creative projects from all over the world. The site was visited over 4,800 times during this two-day online event, with 861 visits to the website from people located across the globe in locations like the United States, Mexico, Spain, and other countries.

Thank you to everyone who participated and attended. View three of the poster’s from this year’s presentation below
