Interim Dean Larry Abraham and Undergraduate Studies staff welcome Undergraduate Studies families at a Saturday morning breakfast that kicks off Family Weekend. Assistant Dean Cassandre Alvarado will speak to attendees at the breakfast, offering insights about the unique experience of Undergraduate Studies students. Other weekend events include a workshop on choosing a major and a presentation on career decision-making.

Hear from current student leaders and staff about some of the wonderful opportunities awaiting your student. Meet Undergraduate Studies student leaders and advisors from our Center for Strategic Advising & Career Counseling, experience major exploration, and learn about all the ways you can support your student during this exciting time in his or her life. Speakers include:

- Assistant Dean David Spight from the Center for Strategic Advising & Career Counseling
- Assistant Dean Cassandre Alvarado, manager of our college readiness initiatives
- Patricia Micks from the First-Year Experiences office, which includes Signature Courses and First-year Interest Groups
