Students arrive for 28th Honors Colloquium

Colloquists arrive today for the 28th annual Honors Colloquium. Each summer, academically outstanding high-school students from throughout Texas are invited to spend three days exploring and discovering The University of Texas at Austin.

Students attend Signature Courses and Honors classes with some of UT’s finest faculty, and participate in tours and demonstrations held across campus in the university’s many laboratories, libraries, and museums.

The students attending Colloquium experience residential life first-hand. They live in Jester Center with a “cohort,” or group of fellow colloquists, and are mentored by exceptional UT students and staff.
