He blends the disciplines of communication, entrepreneurship, and cognitive psychology to help entrepreneurs craft pitches, develop value propositions, create persuasive marketing strategies, and build cohesive teams. He currently is a researcher at the IC² Institute at The University of Texas at Austin. His mission is to apply the institutes 40 years of “thinking and doing” in entrepreneurship and economic development to help struggling economies innovate and attract talent. He has worked with city leaders and organizations in Sweden, India, Ecuador, and across the United States to build entrepreneurial cultures. He is a certified corporate trainer and holds a master’s degree from Texas State University in communication studies.
