Blackstone LaunchPad workshops and networking programs create a diverse and inclusive environment while building the entrepreneurial mindset and making connections with mentors and peers.
The Blackstone LaunchPad Workshop Series provides resources to students, faculty, and staff at The University of Texas at Austin looking to pursue entrepreneurship. The workshop series is comprised of a few main themes: entrepreneurial thinking, hands-on application, current topics of interest, and diversity. It covers basic elements of starting a company, the language of entrepreneurship, tactics to turn your idea into a business, and attracting resources to your idea.
We also partner with Babson College and Techstars to cohost the Inclusive Entrepreneurship Incubator/WINLab (Women Innovating Now). This is an 8-month long program designed specifically to accelerate entrepreneurial paths for UT women.
Check back for more information about spring semester workshops.
Blackstone LaunchPad also provides opportunities to meet the entrepreneurial community and find team members through networking events, including:
- Coffee Meetups: Students, staff, and faculty are welcome to join this relaxed networking event and get involved with the entrepreneurship community.
- Spark Nights: Pitch your entrepreneurial ideas and get feedback from the other attendees.
