Longhorn Startup Seminar/Lab
The Longhorn Startup Seminar is a fall semester lecture course that features prominent entrepreneurs telling the stories of how they founded their companies and answering questions from students. Students pitch their ideas to the class and participate in speed-dating events to meet potential co-founders and get advice from mentors. Any student from any college can register for either of these course numbers: CS178 or ES177.
The Longhorn Startup Lab is a spring semester project course for student entrepreneurs who are building scalable technology companies. Students earn course credit for working on their startups while still in school. The course includes weekly one-on-one mentoring sessions with successful entrepreneurs and free coworking memberships at Capital Factory. Any student from any college can register for either of these course numbers: CS378, ES377E, or MAN337. You must also fill out an application form for instructor approval.

- Startup School – Startup School believes the barrier to entry for people to start a startup is still too high. They help people to start a company, regardless of who you are or where you are.
- Startup Secrets – This 11-part series is designed as a consistent set of frameworks and case studies for entrepreneurs and innovators to think through the key steps that could accelerate their success in starting a business.
- How to Start a Startup – “How to Start a Startup” is a series of video lectures, initially given at Stanford in fall 2014.
