"I value the Connecting Experiences that I completed through Global Studies BDP, which allowed me to gain hands-on experience in my areas of interest."

Discuss your general career path since graduating from UT.

After graduating, I spent the summer in Uganda as an intern for Promise International. That fall, I started the juris doctor/master of science in foreign service dual degree program at Georgetown University, which I have been enrolled in for the past three and half years.

How did your BDP experience influence your career path and interests?

It was my interest in international relations that led me to Georgetown Law, which specializes in international law, and ultimately to pursue the dual program at the School of Foreign Service. I developed and nurtured my current interests through the Bridging Disciplines Programs.

What do you value most about your BDP experience?

I value the Connecting Experiences that I completed through Global Studies BDP, which allowed me to gain hands-on experience in my areas of interest. I received scholarships from the BDP office that helped make the Connecting Experiences possible.
