The School of Undergraduate Studies (UGS) offers three scholarship opportunities for students who have demonstrated exploration in an academic or career field:
- Macalik Endowed Scholarship in Undergraduate Studies: Provides scholarships to students enrolled in the School of Undergraduate Studies.
- Courtney and Doug Swanson Endowed Scholarship in Undergraduate Studies: Provides scholarships to students enrolled in the School of Undergraduate Studies.
- W. Sue Ragle Career Exploration Scholarship: Provides scholarships to students enrolled in the School of Undergraduate Studies who are making or have made effective use of career exploration services in formulating their academic plans.
Eligibility
The Macalik Endowed Scholarship, Courtney and Doug Swanson Endowed Scholarship, and W. Sue Ragle Career Exploration Scholarship are awarded to UGS students in good academic standing who have demonstrated exploration in an academic or career field.
Criteria
1. Good academic standing
2. Academic merit (including, but not limited to: ability to balance commitments, organizational involvement, and/or employment)
AND
3. Evidence of career exploration

Students will be asked about their involvement on and off campus, and how they have made effective use of career services in formulating their academic and career plans. In completing this application, students will be considered for all three scholarships. It is recommended that students complete their answers in a word processor and copy/paste them into the application as their answers may not be saved if they navigate away from the page.
