Information Sessions

Students interested in learning more about the Archer Fellowship Program should join us for an information session.

Spring 2018 Information Session

There are no spring information sessions currently scheduled. Information sessions will likely pick back up in fall 2018. If you have any questions about the Archer Program, and were hoping to apply in spring 2018, please reach out to our offices at 512-232-8400.

Rapid Application Review

In February, the Vick Center for Strategic Advising and Career Counseling will hold rapid application reviews. This is your time to stop in and have your application reviewed by career counselors. The University Writing Center will also be present at these review sessions to provide feedback on the materials.

This event will take place in JES A115 on Feb. 12, 14, and 15, from 1 to 4 p.m.

Open Hours Advising

Students are invited to visit us during scheduled open hours advising. This is a great opportunity to ask questions about the program and application and also to get constructive feedback on drafts of your application materials prior to the application deadline. No appointment is necessary; just stop by.

Call the office at 512-232-8400 or email to find out when open hours are offered.

Individual Advising and Support

Prospective Archer Fellows can also receive individual assistance with their Archer applications; including feedback on application materials. Please call 512-232-8400 to schedule an individual Archer advising appointment.

Students who may need accommodations for any of these events should contact the Archer Program Coordinators at least five days in advance.
