Nathan Hughes

Nathan is a mechanical engineering sophomore. Born and raised in the Houston area, Nathan has worked on several engineering projects since his sophomore year of high school. He first developed an interest in entrepreneurship with the Inventors Program in the College of Natural Sciences, where he co-founded a startup that specialized in building an interactive ecosystem exhibit for a local science museum. He also co-developed a company that specializes in military technologies in the Inventor’s Fellowship after studying abroad in Europe.

Fatoumata Daillo

Fatoumata is a senior Health and Society pre-Law major. She was born in Guinea, West Africa and raised in Memphis, TN. Her interests include, women’s and children’s human rights, social justice, and serving and advocating for underserved communities. She plans on attending law school to study human rights/international and Islamic law. She is very passionate on bringing sustainable healthy and sanitary products to women and young girls in underserved countries.

Seun Ibitoye

Bio: Seun is from Lagos, Nigeria. She says nothing inspired her to become an entrepreneur, she fell into it. During her freshman year, she decided to go to a Co-founder speed dating event and there an aspiring entrepreneur was born. She chose her major because she was interested in understanding the efficiency and behavior surrounding the consumption and production of healthcare.
Fun Fact: Seun LOVES Grey’s Anatomy A LOT and has rewatched all 14 seasons (317 episodes).

Seth Applebaum

Bio: Seth is a senior majoring in communication & leadership. He is in the Innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship program while also minoring in business and information technology. Seth currently works at Quake Capital Partners, an early stage venture capital fund and accelerator program, where he has been since this past summer. In addition to his Blackstone LaunchPad ambassadorship, Seth has been active in Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity where he has held numerous positions.

Isaac Gorman

Bio: Isaac is a junior at The University of Texas at Austin studying rhetoric and writing. He grew up loving art and the outdoors. Isaac is currently working on his first venture: Spoke, a mode of stress-free bicycle repair. He believes that entrepreneurship is a vehicle for creative people to improve their communities.
