Loretta first came to the Sanger Learning Center seeking help in her freshman calculus class. Today, she tutors students in chemistry and computer science courses.

Mani began working with the Sanger Learning Center as a preceptor in Fall 2012 in his PLUS-supported genetics course. Now as a senior preceptor, he guides new preceptors in their work with students.

When Sachin got to UT he wanted to major in finance but after taking calculus classes he discovered his true passion lies in actuarial science. Sachin would like to work in either the insurance or consulting industries. He has focused on maintaining a good GPA and it has paid off—he was named a College Scholar in 2015.

As an SI Leader, Sam leads weekly discussion sections to help students master material in their economics courses.

Sharmin Sharif

Major: Masters in Professional Accounting
Graduation: Spring 2017

Sharmin hosts various student-oriented workshops as an outreach assistant in the Sanger Learning Center. She also works as a peer academic coach helping build students’ study skills.
