Eight UGS students were honored for their outstanding academic achievements at the 66th annual Honors Day Convocation.
Student Government passed a resolution in support of the Sanger Learning Center, which piloted a tutoring program for upper-division classes inspired by a student government initiative this past fall.
Lauren Fedele works for Facilities Services and the Campus Environmental Center. As a UGS student, she discovered her passion for the environment and is now double majoring in urban studies and geography.
The Texas Exes James W. Vick Award for Academic Advising, whose recipients are nominated and chosen solely by students, honors individuals whose outstanding advising improves the UT student experience.
